Pastor Bill grew up in Gloucester City, graduating from GHS in 1976 before attending Anderson College in Anderson, Indiana. He graduated in 1980 with a BA in Religion/Bible with a minor in both Business and Accounting. During his junior year he met his future spouse, Kim Martin, and they married prior to his graduation. After college, Bill went into Restaurant Management/Supervision working for Duff’s Famous Smorgasbord in Springfield, OH and Pigeon Forge, TN. In 1995 sensing a call to ministry, they moved to Indiana, and Bill enrolled at Anderson University School of Theology. He graduated in May of 1999 with a Master of Divinity degree. In the summer of 1999, Pastor Bill, Kim and their three children (Ashley, Bill, and Rachel) moved to Gloucester City as he began pastoring at the Highland Park Church of God. Pastor Bill has served the Church of God as a District Secretary as well as being the Secretary of the Ministers’ Credentials Committee.

Locally, he has been an active member of the Gloucester City Ministerium for over a decade, bowls in the Christian Men’s Bowling league at Westbrook Lanes on Monday evenings, and has been an active member in the Gloucester City Lion’s Club for the past several years. He has enjoyed participating in the National Honor Society inductions and the Baccalaureate Services at GHS on numerous occasions. His most treasured compliment came to him in a short note, hanging about his desk, written by his former GHS Cross Country/Track Coach and Mechanical Drawing teacher. “May God Bless You for the work you are doing at the church and in the community. I am proud of you. May God bless your Mom and Dad for all the work they have done in Gloucester. My heart is still in Gloucester. In Christ’s Love, Harry C. Green” Pastor Bill has a deep love for our community and desires to extend God’s love to all persons.
